‘Cat House’ gets a spruce’n

Through the relatively quiet winter, we took the opportunity to “deep clean” our adoption center.

With mops, paint, and cups of caffeine, the volunteers spent two months leaving no litter pan unturned or cobweb undisturbed.

After nearly sixty days of work, the place looked shiny and new—ready for the residents of 2008.

‘Goodbye’ to the tattered scratch posts (see our Wish List) and disorganized linen cabinets.

‘Hello’ to our segregated quarantine and treatment area.  Our Dr. Laura is a happier veterinarian to have these new somewhat functional areas.

Of course, it is still our hope that someday we will be able to build a shelter facility with ample space for a variety of homeless animals.

Until then, thousands of kitties will call this cheerful space their home and  thousands of visitors and volunteers will continue to pass through our doors.

are the heartbeat of this organization.
